The Pillowcase Project from American Red Cross

The Pillowcase Project is a youth preparedness education program sponsored by Disney. It uses a, "Learn, Practice, Share" framework to engage students in disaster preparedness and seeks to improve individual self-sufficiency by providing students with information and tools to better handle stressful events and confidently take a role in their own personal preparedness. Each student leaves with their own pillowcase and workbook. Suggested for ages 7 and up, registration is recommended. Please stop by the Frederick Douglass circulation desk or call 428-8206 to register.
