Herman Melville: More than a Whale Story In-Person
When most people hear the name Herman Melville, they immediately think of the great novel Moby Dick. However, Melville wrote much more: other novels, short stories, and poems. Joe O’Toole, the director of the Sodus Bay Lighthouse Museum, has facilitated adult book discussion programs through Humanities New York for many years. This presentation will highlight Herman Melville’s life and provide an overview of his literary works. No registration required.
