Make Your Own Colorful Prints: Learn the Printmaking Technique of Collagraphy In-Person
Learn how to make your own colorful prints with Collagraphy and get creative with textures and color!
A Collagraph is a collage of materials glued onto a "printing plate." The collage is then inked with color using a roller, paper is laid on top of the plate and then it is passed through a press allowing for multiple prints to be created.
You are asked to bring objects that can be passed under the press rollers. The types of things you can bring are lace, felt, doilies, feathers, pieces of cardboard, leaves, flowers, very small seed beads, very small flat buttons, rubber bands, string, etc.
This class will be done in two sessions, Saturday October 21 from 1-3 and Monday October 30 from 5-7.
This is a beginner class; it is not for those with a background in printmaking. This class is for ages 16 and older and requires registration. Please register with this link:
