BOSNIAN IMMIGRANTS: OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES In-Person

First-time author Aisa Purak, born in the small, beautiful village of Jastrebac in Bosnia and Herzegovina, will discuss the journey of 100 Bosnian Muslim families who immigrated to Rochester and found a way to adapt to life in America.

The book documents not only the challenges Bosnians experienced coming to a foreign country, but also discovering endless opportunities in the United States.

Copies of the book will be available for purchase ($20 pap) and signing.   

REGISTRATION began on Thursday, September 14.
