Writing Memoir: The Story of You In-Person
Do you have a story - or many stories - to tell, but don't know how to put the words down on paper? In this four-part series we will explore the basics of memoir writing through a variety of activities. Participants will examine what goes into autobiographical writing, respond to writing prompts, and have the opportunity to share their efforts in a safe and friendly workshop setting.
In addition to her full-time work of raising four school-age children, Jennifer Case teaches writing workshops and leads literary discussion groups at local libraries and senior living communities. Prior to becoming a mother, she led creative writing workshops at Borders Books and taught English at East High School. She also spent time as the Director of Programming at Writers & Books. Jen has a B.A. in English from Alfred University and a M.S. in Education from SUNY College at Brockport.
