The Volunteer Legal Services Project of Monroe County (VLSP) provides free legal help on a first come, first served basis. Issues that they can provide assistance with include: child custody/visitation rights, divorce (for victims of domestic violence), debt collection, unemployment insurance, landlord/tenant problems, and consumer issues. They do NOT provide help with criminal cases. VLSP is located on Friday afternoons in LROC's space on the 3rd floor of the Bausch & Lomb Public Library Building.
