Teen Impact In-Person

TeenImpact is the new teen council of the Henrietta Public Library. TeenImpact is a way for students to build their leadership skills by developing and participating in library activities, as well as becoming library advisors and advocates. TeenImpact meets on the last Tuesday of each month from 6:30-8:00pm. Some of the activities TeenImpact members will be involved in include: children's craft programs, volunteering during our Summer Reading program, creating displays in the Teen Corner, and representing Henrietta Public Library at community events. TeenImpact is for teens in grade 6-12 who have a strong interest in the library, enjoy working with people of all ages and cultures, and are willing to learn new skills. Membership requires regular attendance at meetings, participation in and support of library activities and events, and a sense of fun and adventure. As a bonus, TeenImpact members can earn community service hours through participation in meetings and activities.  Come and check it out!!
