Poetry: The Fun of Nuts & Bolts & Possibilities In-Person

Do you ever wonder how words shape your thoughts?  We all know the challenge of “putting a thought into words” that someone else can appreciate.  This workshop will allow you to discover how a poem “takes the driver’s seat” in uncovering some of the unvoiced ideas in your head. Participants will explore what makes an effective poem with examples and prompts.  Come discover the different faces poetry can present as we play with sounds, placement and different forms. This workshop is designed to meet all levels.

Kitty Jospe is a teacher, facilitator of poetry discussion groups, active poet, and Memorial Art Gallery docent. She has poems in various magazines and anthologies, and three published books. Kitty's blog http://kdjospe.blogspot.com/ features discussions of poems since 2010.
