Art Demonstration: Katie Jo Suddaby, Tibetan sand painting In-Person
Experience the beauty of the meditative art of Tibetan sand painting at the Central Library with artist Katie Jo Suddaby. Sand Mandalas have been created by Tibetan monks for thousands of years, and Katie Jo has had the opportunity to learn from Tibetan lamas both in Rochester and in Nepal. Watch as she works on a Celtic design, and learn about this art form and its message of letting go. There will be an exhibit of Katie Jo's work in the Arts and Literature Division during February.
