The Wilton Cupcake Basics Project Class with Katherine Sorce In-Person

Learn easy buttercream decorating techniques, like swirls, stars, rosettes and more! Practice them on top of your cupcakes for fun and unique designs. Great introduction to Wilton Method Classes—no experience necessary! 

Patrons must bring the following supplies (these supplies can be purchased at Michael’s, Jo-Ann’s, A.C. Moore, or wilton.com) 

Required:

  • Wilton 12pc Cupcake Decorating Set, item 2104-1364 (includes decorating tips 1M, 2A, 2D, and 4B; 12 in. Disposable Decorating Bags)
  • Wilton White Ready-To-Use Decorator Icing—1 lb. can (710-118)
  • 6 un-iced cupcakes

 

 Recommended:

 

  •  9 in. Angled Spatula (409-7712)
  • Wilton Icing Colors (recommended): Black (610-981), Ivory (610-208), Teal (610-207), Royal Blue (2201-1488), Delphinium Blue (610-228), Violet (610-604); or any number of desired colors
  •  Apron
  • Scissors
  • Disposable cloth or paper towels
  • Toothpicks
  •  Small bottle of water (squeeze bottle recommended)
  • Confectioners’ sugar
  • Disposable cups or bowls for mixing icing
  • Waxed or parchment paper
  • Tape
  • Silicone spatulas
  • Damp cloth in plastic bag
  • Gallon size plastic bags 
  • Container to transport cupcakes
