New York's Holy History - America's Spiritual Soul In-Person
Did you know that Upstate New York was a major center of religious ferment during our country's first 150 years? You may be aware of the birth of the Mormon faith in Palmyra and the start of Spiritualism in Hydesville, but that was only the tip of the iceberg. Jack Kowiak will tell us about the religious movements and denominations that sprang up in Western New York, many of which went on to influence our entire nation and the world beyond.
