Rush Readers Book Club In-Person
In keeping with the Rush Bicentennial Celebration, this month's selection will be Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte, published 200 years ago in 1818. Emily Bronte's only novel endures as one of literature's classic masterpieces - a gripping novel of love, propriety and tragedy. On the bleak Yorkshire moors, we meet Heathcliff, and learn of the tempestuous events that turn him into a tortured romantic hero and of his intense love for the well-bred Catherine Earnshaw. Coffee and deserts will be served. Please register in advance.
