Teen Volunteers needed for the 2018 Summer Reading Game - For grades 7-12 (Fall, 2018) Registration required* In-Person
Have fun while earning community service credit! Penfield Public Library is looking for some committed teens to help with oursummer reading game for our elementary school children running from June 25 through August 1. To help make the game enjoyable for everyone, we ask that you volunteer for a regular weekly shift.
Choose either:
Mondays, 5:45 pm – 8:15 pm
Tuesdays, 1:00 pm – 3:30 pm, or Tuesdays, 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Wednesdays, 10:15 am- 12:45 pm, or Wednesdays, 3:15 pm- 5:45 pm
You will be unable to participate if you will miss more than two weeks
of the six-week program.
Learn how to you can help run the reading game during our mandatory training session
on Saturday, June 16 from 10:30 am – 12:00 pm.
*Registration for above reading game shifts begin Friday, June 1 for Penfield town or school district residents; Friday, June 8 for all others.
