Halloween Class In-Person
We will be making this cute Prim Pumpkin ornament. A primitive or prim is a doll or ornament that has a slightly grungy appearance. Prims are fun to make as you can be very creative with them and they can take on a distressed look. The ornament is sewn and painted but does not need to be perfect, that is part of the charm of a prim. You will decorate your pumpkin with a hat, seasonal ribbons, rusty bells, and rusty pumpkin charms. The pumpkin is on a dowel that can be put inside a real pumpkin, a plant, or you can sew a ribbon at the top to hang it. I will do the machine sewing for you but you will stuff the head and make the hat. After putting the face on you will paint the head. If you have your own ribbons bring them along. I suggest wearing a smock or clothes that you don't mind getting paint on :) This class is for ages 16 and older and requires registration.
