Art Demonstration: Martha Schermerhorn, book art In-Person
Meet artist Martha Schermerhorn, and see how she creates her artist books. Martha Schermerhorn is an artist living and working in Rochester. She enjoys working with many materials, so making books suits her best. She has been an artist-in-residence at Fairport High School teaching book arts for the past seven years, and also teaches workshops through the Art Store. She is a member of the Arena Art Group. Examples of her art will be on display in the Central Library during November, as well as on her website, www.mostlyartistsbooks.com.
