Exploring Meditation and Mindfulness

In this session, we will look at some commonly held ideas about meditation and mindfulness and uncover some truths and myths.  Barb will share how these practices have been a critical component in supporting her during the most tumultuous of times.  She will also share some simple ways you can incorporate these practices into your daily life.

Meditation and Mindfulness invite us into the present moment – to be with the life that is here. They support us to do so in a more grounded way.  Through the practice of meditation, awareness increases.  We gain insights, new understandings and can detect patterns.  This isn’t something you make happen, but through practice, you discover for yourself.

In our time, we will share a short meditation and have plenty of time for questions and answers.

Barb Klein is a life coach, family recovery coach, retreat leader, meditation instructor, and author of 111 Invitations: Step into the Full Richness of Life. She is the founder of Inspired Possibility and is committed to helping women come home to themselves through mindfulness, self-awareness, and intentional living.
