Famous Artists Who Were Creative With Physical Challenges Online
How can an artist paint without eyesight make huge works of art from bed? Guided by Joyce Raimondo, Education Coordinator, at the house where artist Jackson Pollock lived with his wife artist Lee Krasner. This Zoom event will highlight Lee Krasner and other famous artists such as Henri Matisse, Frida Kahlo, Chuck Close, and others whose physical challenges sparked creativity and innovative adaptive processes leading to the creation of masterpieces. Then visitors will go on a live Zoom tour of Pollock and Krasner’s barn studio in East Hampton, NY. This program is through Zoom.
