The Relationship between Malcolm X and Muhammad Ali In-Person

Join MCC history professor Mark Sample for a look at the lives of Malcolm X & Muhammad Ali. We'll examine the intersection of their lives and their friendship and how it changed both men. This talk looks at culture, sports, politics, and the history of the late 1950s & early 1960s. 

About the presenter: Mark Sample is a full-time Professor of History at Monroe Community College. A graduate of SUNY Brockport, Mark has been teaching history at MCC since 2001. His areas of specialty are the American Revolution, Progressive Era, and the Civil Rights Era of the 1950s & 1960s.
