Thursdays, February 16 & 23, 6:30-7:30 PM

Join Healthy Yards Monroe County and Doug Tallamy’s Homegrown National Park and plant native! Native plants are essential for a healthy ecosystem. We will discuss site considerations and preparation of the site prior to planting, selecting, appropriate native perennials for your site and learning techniques to design your garden on paper. If you are a first-time gardener or one who plans to integrate more native plants into existing gardens, this will give you the knowledge needed to tap into local native plant resources and learn design techniques.
