Join our adult librarian Paula Blackburn for the Big Read book discussion featuring the book Deaf Republic by Ilya Kaminsky. Books for the book discussion are available at the reference desk. (one per registered patron)
Prepare early for Ilya's April 1 visit to Gates Public Library by discussing his poetry. NTID was awarded the National Endowment of the Arts Big Read and has chosen to bring Ilya Kaminsky to Rochester. Jointly, with RIT/NTID and MCLS, The Gates Public Library will host an evening with Ilya on April 1 from 5:00 - 6:30 pm.
Please register for book discussion so we can prepare to have an appropiate quanity of books on hand to pick up.
