Rush Readers’ Book Club In-Person
This month’s selection is The Dressmakers of Auschwitz: The True Story of the Women Who Sewed to Survive by Lucy Adlington. This is a powerful chronicle of twenty-five young inmates of the infamous Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp who used their sewing skills to survive the Holocaust, stitching beautiful clothes at an extraordinary fashion workshop created within one of the most notorious WWII death camps. Join us on two Thursdays, April 27th or May 4th from 7:00-9:00 PM in the library. Coffee and dessert will be served.
