Friends of the Gates Public Library's K-12 Poetry Contest Deadline
$50 First Prizes and $25 Runner-Up Prizes in three divisions: K-5, Middle School and High School A special $25 Prize will be awarded for a poem based on a Gates theme Contest is open to all K-12 students who live or go to school within the Gates Chili Central School District. Poems must include the student’s name, address, phone number, their school's name and grade. Students may submit up to two poems. Poems may be written in any style, rhymed or unrhymed. Maximum length: 25 lines. Entries must be legible. Contest winners will be honored at the Friends Annual Meeting on May 18, 2023 at Gates Public Library.
