Citizenship Class In-Person

This is a 16-week Citizenship Class to prepare you for your Naturalization Exam.  We cover pre-Colonial, Colonial, Revolutionary War, 1800s, 1900s and modern-day history.  We also cover Civics, branches of government, law-making, voting and elections and understanding the questions from your N-400 form.  We practice writing and reading as you will have to demonstrate during your Naturalization exam.  There is no cost for this hybrid (in-person or on Zoom) class.  Proof of Monroe County, NY residency is required.  Send scanned proof of Monroe County, NY residency to NewAmericans@LibraryWeb.org or just attend in-person on Tuesdays from 4:30pm - 6pm at Maplewood Community Library, 1111 Dewey Ave, Rochester, NY 14613.
