Playwriting Workshop with Lucia Radetzki : A 3-part series (Rochester Writes) In-Person

This workshop will introduce the planning and construction of playwriting, including, what makes playwriting unique: outline of acts, action, dialog, movement and staging.  We will use creative tools and playwriting games to discover our talents and transcend our limitations, using individual and collective questions and concerns as inspiration to write our own plays. No previous experience required. Everyone is welcome!

Monday May 15, 22 and June 5:  630-8:00pm in the Rundel Arts Room at the Central Library (1st floor Rundel Building in the Arts and Literature Division).  1hr parking validated in the Court St. Garage, Street parking free after 6pm.

Lucia Radetzki is an experienced Argentinian playwriting and theater instructor.  She has written and produced plays and workshops in Mexico, Guatemala and Argentina.  She studied Theater at the National University of Arts, Buenos Aires, from 2007-2011 and has participated in numerous workshops and seminars since the beginning of her career in 2007.  Her specialty is in physical theater, theater anthropology and theater of the oppressed.  She has written and directed the production of many of her plays, including: Calm Karma, Flowers of Clay, The Cure and Phoenix, to name only a few.  Join Lucia for this wonderful workshop!
