Women in Mechanical Engineering—Strategies, Impact, Community In-Person
RIT Engineering Professor Margaret Bailey, Ph.D., P.E., Founding Director of AdvanceRIT and WE@RIT, and RIT English Professor Laura Shackelford, Founding Director of the RIT Center for Engaged Storycraft, highlight the contributions of diverse women engineers who are at the forefront of mechanical engineering, navigating research and professional domains that are historically gendered. Professors Bailey and Shackelford will also discuss why and how they created their book, Women in Mechanical Engineering.
