Reducing Barriers from a Criminal Record: Know Your Rights/Fair Housing Protections In-Person

Arrest and conviction records can create significant barriers and challenges for people looking for safe, affordable housing. The Center for Community Alternatives, Judicial Process Commission, and Legal Assistance of Western New York present “Know Your Rights: Fair Housing Protections."

Attendees will also learn why it is critically important to know what is on their Rap sheet, how to get a copy for free, how to correct errors, as well as other practical steps they can take to reduce common barriers resulting from a criminal conviction.

Registration encouraged but walk-ins are welcome.
