Climate Robot Rangers! Teen Central Youth Climate Change Data Literacy Program In-Person
Attention all young climate enthusiasts in grades 6-12!
We are thrilled to invite you to join our exciting 5-week Climate Change Data Literacy Program hosted at the Rochester Public Library. This hands-on, interactive course will empower you to make a real impact on understanding and combating climate change by building your very own climate sensing robot using Arduino kits.
As a Climate Ranger, you'll embark on a fascinating journey to explore the complex world of urban climate and local tree coverage. Your climate sensing robot will help you collect valuable data to better understand the critical environmental changes happening right in your community.Throughout the program, you'll participate in engaging science experiments and work collaboratively with fellow young climate enthusiasts to analyze the data gathered by your robots. Registration is required.
