Partial Eclipse Viewing Event In-Person
On this day the Greater Rochester Region will get to experience a partial solar eclipse which will be the perfect warm-up for the total eclipse on April 8th, 2024, when we'll be in the direct path of a total solar eclipse for the first time in almost a century. The eclipse begins at 11:59am, reaches the maximum at 1:13pm and ends at 2:27pm. Bring the cereal box viewer you made at the library earlier this month and a limited number of eclipse glasses will be available to share.
