Whispers of Perhaps: A Look at What Poems Can Do with Kitty Jospé In-Person
Kitty Jospé presents a series of craft possibilities including the use of ekphrastics—when visual art triggers a vivid response in words. She will use examples from her last two books, 2021’s Sum:1 and the new Whispers of Perhaps, to show what lies behind cadence and tone. For fifteen years Kitty has moderated two popular poetry appreciation series at the Pittsford and Rundel libraries, “O Pen” and “Poetry Oasis.”
