JOIN US for a reading and discussion series featuring Let Our Children Soar!, the remarkable book by Dr. Bolgen Vargas, former superintendent of the Rochester City School District.

Dr. Vargas shares his journey from the rural Dominican Republic to the halls of Rochester’s public schools, offering a unique perspective on educational reform and the power of resilience in the Latinx community. Whether you're an educator, parent, student, or simply someone passionate about learning and growth, Let Our Children Soar! offers valuable lessons for us all.

Join us in exploring Dr. Bolgen Vargas's inspiring story and the critical themes that shape public education in Rochester today.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED for this FREE program series. Registration is open through April 6, 2024.

We will meet Saturdays, 1-2:30 pm, in the Kusler-Cox Auditorium, 3rd floor, Rundel Memorial Building.

Books will be available for participants to check out from the Central Library. Participants should plan to attend all three meetings and participate in the discussion.
