Introduction to Beekeeping with Solidago Apiaries In-Person
Have you dreamed of caring for a hive of bees that would pollinate your garden and make delicious honey? Let Lisa Barker and Kira Avery of Solidago Apiaries teach you about what is involved in becoming a backyard beekeeper. There will be no actual honeybees at this program, just lots of information to get you started on your beekeeping journey. Some of you may remember Lisa Barker as the beekeeper who saved the bees at the Winton Branch library last year when there was a swarm in our parking lot!
