Viva La Vida! Frida Kahlo Workshop

Viva La Vida! Frida Kahlo Workshop Online

Celebrate the art of Mexico’s most famous female artist, Frida Kahlo. Discover how Kahlo told the dramatic story of her life in amazing paintings. Then create your own illustration that communicates a memory in your life in an imaginative way. Have a pencil and paper (about 9 x 12 is fine), sharpener, eraser, and if you want, colored pencils on hand on Wednesday, May 1st at 2:00 PM. Register in advance.

Art Series for Beginners: We are continuing our free art lessons with Joyce Raimondo, Education Coordinator with the Pollock-Krasner House & Study Center in East Hampton, NY. Each class will demonstrate a different way to communicate the language of art followed by a hands-on opportunity to express yourself and receive feedback from Joyce. These classes will only be online due to the unavailability of our meeting room. *When you register, please note the list of supplies you will need on the day of the event. Your Zoom link will be sent on the day of each class.
