Garden-Worthy Native Plants In-Person
*Registration is open*
Thursday, June 6, 6:00-7:30 PM (rescheduled from May 16)
For Adults
Megan Meyer of Healthy Yards Monroe County and Color Penfield Green will discuss native plants, including how to start a native pollinator garden, like the new garden planted in the spring of 2023 in front of the library, and where the best places are to purchase native plants. Megan will also offer a colorful photo presentation of these plants in bloom and their benefits to wildlife and ourselves. Suggestions on adding these special native plants to existing gardens or starting a small native pollinator garden from scratch will also be discussed.
