TTRPGs @ the Library

TTRPGs @ the Library In-Person

Rochester Central Library Technology Center is hosting a community conference focused on taking an active role in building our culture and creating our history, using the metaphors and mechanisms of roleplaying games. We will include panel discussions on worldbuilding in roleplaying games, Indigenous storytelling and education, oral traditions and the documentation of history, and identity building and trauma support through roleplay, among other subjects. We hope to spark community conversations and engagement as various cultures within our local community meet and discuss our shared history.

Come adventure with us!

  • Explore such topics as worldbuilding, collective storytelling, and our relationship to the maintenance of history and culture.
  • Mingle with fellow TTRPG fans and perhaps find your next adventuring party!
  • Attend a performance and discussion by Perry Ground, an indigenous storyteller.
  • Discuss the ways in which we explore identity through fictional characters
