Genealogy Club: Discovering Local History & Genealogy at RPL In-Person

Located on the second floor of the Rundel Memorial Building in downtown Rochester, the Central Library's Local History & Genealogy Division holds the region's largest collection of primary and secondary source materials about the history of Rochester and the Genesee Valley, along with a trove of resources to help you research your family history. Join Brandon Fess in exploring the array of materials and services the division has to offer!

Presented by Brandon Fess. Brandon Fess is the Special Collections Librarian with the Local History and Genealogy Division of the Rochester Public Library. A native of Rochester, N.Y., he graduated in 2015 from Syracuse University with a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science. As Special Collections Librarian, he is responsible for the maintenance of the library's physical and digital archival collections and takes great pleasure in maintaining and providing access to his hometown's cultural heritage.
