Have you ever gotten an email that urged you do something, only to find out once you did it that it was a scam? Maybe you've fallen prey to a phone call that seemed like it was from your bank. Scammers are all around us these days, and they've gotten very good at sounding like the real deal. Scams, frauds and hoaxes cost consumers billions of dollars each year. Join us for this presentation from the New York State Division of Consumer Protection that helps consumers recognize and avoid scams.
