Rush Readers’ Book Club In-Person
This month we are reading The Book of Longings by Sue Monk Kidd. This is the story of rebellious and ambitious young woman whose encounter with 18-year-old Jesus changes everything. Grounded in meticulous research and written with a reverential approach to Jesus's life that focuses on his humanity, this is an inspiring, unforgettable account of one woman's bold struggle to realize the passion and potential inside her, while living in a time, place and culture devised to silence her. Join us for discussion and dessert on Thursday, June 27th at 7:00 PM at Wildwood Country Club. Due to the 4th of July holiday, there will not be a second week of book club discussion.
