Seashells into Art: Georgia O’Keeffe Workshop Online
Inspired by shells found on the ocean shore, we will paint larger than life seashell paintings inspired by American artist Georgia O’Keeffe. Following a virtual art show of O’Keeffe’s popular shell paintings, Joyce Raimondo will demonstrate how to turn your ocean finds into masterpieces. Have paint or drawing supplies and a shell or photograph of a shell on hand Wednesday, August 28th at 1:00 PM online. Register in advance.
These free beginner art lessons for teens and adults are with Joyce Raimondo, Education Coordinator with the Pollock-Krasner House & Study Center. Her Nature Series continues with each class illustrating nature-inspired artists followed by a hands-on opportunity to express yourself and receive feedback from Joyce. These classes will only be online due to the unavailability of our meeting room. *When you register, please note the list of supplies you will need on the day of the event. Your Zoom link will be sent on the day of each class.
