Sand into Art Workshop

Sand into Art Workshop Online

Dig into the sand and transform it into art. Discover the many ways artists such as Tim Bengal, Jackson Pollock and others incorporate sand into painting and sculpture. Then create a textured painting using sand and paint. Have sand, glue, and paint supplies on hand Wednesday, September 25th at 1:00 PM online. Don’t have sand? Use sandpaper instead. Register in advance.

We are continuing our free, beginner art lessons for teens and adults with Joyce Raimondo, Education Coordinator with the Pollock-Krasner House & Study Center. Her Nature Series continues with each class illustrating nature-inspired artists followed by a hands-on opportunity to express yourself and receive feedback from Joyce. These classes will only be online due to the unavailability of our meeting room. *When you register, please note the list of supplies you will need on the day of the event. Your Zoom link will be sent on the day of each class.
