Book Talk with Sidney Morrison, author of Frederick Douglass: a novel In-Person

Join author Sidney Morrison for a talk about his new novel, a fictionalized account of the life of Frederick Douglass. Sidney will speak about Frederick Douglass, his life and the making of this historic book. There will also be a meet and greet with the author. There will be a limited number of free books available for Sidney to sign that will be distributed on a first come first serve basis live at the event.

Sidney Morrison lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Karan. He is a retired teacher and school principal and now a part-time educational consultant and leadership coach for school leaders in school districts in Southern California. He also provides professional development in workshops about ethical leadership and diversity/equity issues in schools. Elected to the Board of Directors of the Association of California School Administrations, he was then elected as state president for 1998-1999.
