Climate Change: Mitigation, Adaptation, & Geoengineering In-Person
Dr. Liz Patton and Dr. Mary Jane Hellyar, retired from the Kodak research labs, present on the status of climate change, the primary causes of greenhouse gases, and pathways to mitigation.
Should we eat beef? Should we buy an electric car? Should we ditch our gas stove? Can we save the earth by launching little dust aerosols? Climate change is all over the news, in an overwhelming, confusing daily flood of information. The presenters will explain the situation, the several steps needed to mitigate it, and some local things you can do to help out.
