In preparation for the Penfield Public Library’s October 8th event, an author talk and book signing by Pulitzer Prize-winner Jonathan Eig, Librarians Kim Catalanello and Candy Johnson will host a conversation about the main points of Mr. Eig’s landmark work. It is the first major biography of civil rights legend Martin Luther King, Jr. in decades. The conversation will touch on Dr. King’s journey of family, faith, and activism. Please note: you do not need to read the book in its entirety; registrants are invited to selectively read portions of this significant text and bring their thoughts to the conversation.
