Altered Books Workshop - for Families

Altered Books Workshop - for Families In-Person

This session is now open to families - come in together to create art out of a book!

Students will learn the basics of pop up and kaleidoscope books. These books may look strange and funny, but they can pack a powerful message.

You may bring drawings, magazine images or computer prints up to 4” x 8”. Any found materials such as fabric, dried flowers, feathers, ribbons, etc. can be brought for embellishments.

This project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of The Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by the Genesee Valley Council on the Arts.
