Browncroft Historic District Walking Tour In-Person
Join the incomparable Cynthia Howk, former Architectural Research Coordinator for the Landmark Society of Western NY, on a walking tour of the historic Browncroft neighborhood. We’ll start at the Winton Branch Library, and walk for about an hour (roughly 1.5 miles.) The properties within the Browncroft Historic District have been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 2004. Most were built in the 1920’s and represent a variety of architectural styles and are notable for their beautiful, original details and landscaping. Cynthia Howk is a Rochester treasure with a wealth of knowledge about local history and architecture.
Please dress for the weather as we’ll walk rain or shine. Registration is required for this free program since the size of the group must be limited.
