Gratitude Story Time with Dalit of PJ Library In-Person
Preschool and Early Elementary Kids and their caregivers won't want to miss this special Gratitude Story Time with PJ Library's Dalit Spindel.
We'll be reading How Dalia Put a Big Yellow Comforter Inside a Tiny Blue Box Written by - Linda Heller Illustrated by -Stacey McQueen
After reading the book the kids can decorate their own Tzedakah- charity piggy bank box and think for who they want to collect money for and where to place them. Like Dalia and her friends your family may choose in advance how to use your tzedakah funds. Encourage your kids to think of a place/ organization to donate the money the collect, purchase the items they need and deliver it. This will provide an understanding of what their money can accomplish as well as an opportunity to experience the joy and satisfaction of participating in acts of tzedakah/ charity.
