Cat Scratch Art

Cat Scratch Art In-Person

Local artist, Barb Fragale, will teach us Scratch Art on Saturday, October 19th from 1:00-3:00 PM in the library. Learn to think in reverse… instead of dark lines being applied, lines are gently scratched out of a black scratchboard to expose the white layer beneath. Learn the design-transfer process for a cat portrait and spend time making the design your own. You might not leave with a completed project, but you will be able to finish at home. You do not need any prior drawing experience. This class is for adults and ages 14 and up. There is a $5 materials fee payable that day, but teens up to age 18 are free. Please register in advance.
