Banned Book Read-Out In-Person
Join us on the North Terrace of the Central Library on Saturday, October 19 for a Banned Book Read-Out event supporting the Freedom to Read Community Day of Action. Community members will read aloud for 10 minutes from one of hundreds of books banned or challenged each year. Some of the titles include: To Kill A Mockingbird, Harry Potter, The Bluest Eye, and I am Jazz.
