Free Art Class: Recycling Art Workshop

Free Art Class: Recycling Art Workshop In-Person / Online

We are continuing our free art lessons with Joyce Raimondo, Education Coordinator with the Pollock-Krasner House & Study Center. You can choose in-person or Zoom for these hybrid events. Joyce will provide encouraging and critical feedback of your work during each session.

On Wednesday, January 15th at 2:00 PM (note the time change!) You’ll take a virtual tour of the Pollock-Krasner House and discover art made from recycled objects. Get inspired by how famous artists Pablo Picasso, Alexander Calder, and others transformed junk into masterpieces. Then create your own sculpture or collage using found materials. Supplies needed: broken jewelry, bottle caps, trinkets, or wrapping paper, along with scissors, glue, or tape and a surface for your art.

*Please register in advance for each class and note the list of supplies you will need each time, whether attending in-person or via Zoom. Your Zoom link will be sent on the day of each class, so check your email & spam folder.
