African Drumming and Stories with Building Families First In-Person
Kids and their grownups will be sure to enjoy this program by Mayukwa Kashiwa of Building Families First, Inc.
Mayukwa was born in Zambia, Africa. He is part of the Kaonde Tribe. He is the author of the children’s book Mayukwa and the Leopard and shares his culture in a vibrant performance incorporating African drumming and dance, along with educative traditional storytelling. This interactive program teaches children morals and guidance, while allowing them freedom of expression through movement, drumming and upbeat music.
