King at a Crossroads: Human Rights in Rochester In-Person

Dr. Laura Warren Hill, author of Strike the Hammer While the Iron is Hot: The Black Freedom Struggle in Rochester, NY, 1940-1970, presents on the activist life of Martin Luther King Jr. and his connection to the civil rights movement in Rochester. Dr. Hill, an associate professor at Binghamton University and expert in history and African American studies, will share how Rochester's unique strategies left an indelible mark on national Black freedom movements.
